ChampN252
First, that Bel-air is badass. When dropping a pick-up does it have to have that hump in the back like minitruck's? (nice truck btw) I would love full size pickup like a F150 or 1500 on airbags with a blowthru, but I starting to doubt that can be done now. 2012 Honda Accord Radio: Pioneer AVH-4200NEX

You don't have to cut into the bed but you will not be able to lay frame with large wheels if you don't. I raised the bed floor and added the notch and wheel wells to be able to lay body on 26's but with smaller wheels and not needing to lay frame it can easily be done. A mini notch and cutting away some of the inner wheel well will be sufficient for a basic setup. Here is how my bed ended up: 2003 Ford F-150 Reg Cab layin body on 26's 2003 Tahoe 3/5 drop on 26's with a 408cid Supercharged engine. 2011 Camaro 2SS 2005 VW GTI Stage II ECU, CAI, 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC, lowered 2" on some plastidipped 18's 2003 Hayabusa lowered, stretched, cams, nitrous and custom paint
doug118
OR do an underslung setup and have a full bed minus the wheel wells. Underslung means instead of having a c-notch, the frame is built under the axle to give you a really clean bed. the downfall is you can't get as much lift 2001 Tahoe.
