Thanks jay for postin this up for me, he has anthr box desgin for the 9- 15" its in my build log, but I'm at work just looking on my phone...

I was thinking I could probly get away without doing double layer all around as long as I brace the crap out of it and glass the inside???

And yea he's correct I will be doing 9- 15" DC lvl4 XLs on 3- DC 5000.1's

Thanks for looking and thanks to jay for the post and desgin!

I'll try to post up the other design shortly if I can

Yea by the second one you mean the first desgin in the post right??

I like it to bc it looks super strong I'm just worried bc the space per sub is on the small side.... I dnt want to damage anything or not be able to beat it for a good bit... This is a monster daily ground pounder that will be played a lot.. Not just burps

Any feedback on the airspace??

And anthr thing is that with the first design I had 8" roughly from box face to roof and now with the new one it's less than 7... Is that enough space to not smother the subs or mess with imp

Glad i could help.. I do agree on maybe just adding another sub baffle to the first design and just glassing the inside and bracing it real good.. that way you can get alittle more room for those subs... i know you want this perfect before the saw dust flies...

Posted

Looks good, but i would do 6x on the baffle. That is alot of weight and alot of force on it once all 9 subs get moving. 2x baffle is going to rip right off that thing! :ehh:

As for the volume unlike alot of people 2.5 will work out real nicely... Trust me. :good:
