here is my truck and the first box as a reference

the old box was around 9.5ft^3 and tuned to around 35hz

plans are to build a fiberglass box that is a little bit larger and tuned lower and also place the port up higher but still have the subs firing up so that i can hopefully pull off some hair tricks. Im not sure yet what i want to tune it to but im thinking around 27-30hz. any input would be appreciated

pulled the old box out and the rear seats out

gonna use an exorbitant amount of mat and resin products to do a full enclosure. but why. do a majority of it in mdf and then you can make the face or what not from fiberglass. look at boilermakers truck.

so after some more reading around i think i have decided to build a box that will be 10ft^3 after displacement and have three 6"x27" ports too equal 108in^2 of port area which is 10.8in^2/ft^3 and tuned to 27hz. also since the ports are so long i will have them firing up and the subs will still be firing up as well in the back of my ext cab truck

any suggestions on this design? the main thing i am hoping to achieve are some hair tricks

sub up port up... 27hz is too low in my oppinion... but thats cuz i got a wide range of music...

if its hair tricks your looking for... lower is better...whatever floats your boat... lol
