I got my first car and i wanna put a system in it but i don't know anything about any of this so i was wondering if i could get some help

ive got a 2007 scion Tc and a budget of about $450

Ive looked around and this setup looks good to me but i don't know anything so i thought id let you guys look at it.

+1 for posting what car you have, what budget you have AND posting links of shit you have considered...

I think it would be a decent little starter system for under 450.. the only thing I would change would be the box and make a custom box since all prefabs suck

well you're staring small and you're in the right place. that's a good start.

Sick around and learn by reading build logs and you'll be fine.

As far as the equipment you're looking at, the only thing i don't agree with for someone who's serious about growing into this hobby is the prefab box.

It'll work for now, but look into what goes into building your own box while your riding around bumping this.

Don't forget the power wire and fusing!

LOL I agree with every one Dont waste money on a pre fab box... went that route and yea i should of just waited and got a custom box built...

but since your starting out these subs came to mind after i was reading some of the amazing members build. I think the member had 6 IIRC of them in his PT Cruiser In a replica box of Meade design...

As to the amps there are many to chose from I like Soundstorm amps (i smell flames ) but im sure every one will chime in hehehe
