Power Acoustik MOFOs. are they any good?? 1500 watts rms for only 160?? somethings got to be up with them. the blow easy? voice coils burn up quick? how good are they and are they worth the money?? any help s greatly appreciated!!! Im getting fa system for christmas and it MUST slam hard.

This particular PA woofer has a decently sized motor behind it but like all PA woofers they have weak coils. Any amount of long term clipping or severe clipping can cause failure. Are they worth the price? If you scoop up a pair for $160 then yeah I'd say so, I see them on craigslist all the time for 100-150 a pair. Don't buy PA amps though, they are complete garbage! TeamHT Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 $400 for subs alone? Heaps of options I'd rather than PA. FI, lower AA, sundown, lower DCs...can also check the for sale section for good deals Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
