jcm1689 Posted September 25, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2007 you have a Powerbass 3k right? if so, they all do that (from what ive seen) you could take the back off and install some fans, but that wouldnt do a hole lot my only other suggestion, is that you get a better amp get 2 sundown saz-1500s they dont have any heating problems that im aware of if you gont have the money, you can (i know your all going to hate me for it) get 2 PA 3ks they put out about 2kw and can take a pretty good beating ya its the xa-3000d i dont really know that much about the amp but the owner of the truck has researched them quite abit. he hasnt really heard of any problems with them and told me that he read a buch of stuff about these amps running at .5 for long periods of time. and hasnt really heard anything bad about them.....thats why he purchased the amp. at this point im almost wondering if there was damaged caused by the previous owner. he was running 4 of these amps together, 2 of which blew, he took them all out when this happened and listed em for sale. and as far as getting a new amp goes is kinda up to the owner. jcm1689 Posted September 25, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2007 got the headlinner and light in. the pics dont really show it but dam that thing looks fuckin sick in the truck. it makes the whole interior glow blue turned out awesome. didnt get pics but got the pillars in. also got the kicks, the pices on the floor next to the seat that connect with the kicks, and the plastic trim pieces on the side of the seat wraped and installed also....will have pics of those in a little bit when the truck gets here.
