i resently just bought to new kicker l5 15" and a ported box around 32 herzt. and i want to know or ask if any body can show or tell me how to wire them to 4 ohms to hit 2000 watts from a 4000 watt 2 channle amp and weather i should wire them in series or parrale

What ohm subs are they? Some examples would be 4 ohm, 2 ohm, 4 ohm DVC (Dual Voice Coil) or 2 ohm DVC.

So the amplifier is 4 ohm mono wire your subwoofer in series since it's a dual 2 ohm. And i doubt you will see anything close to 4000 watts from that amplifier.

Oh dear. Don't buy this amp. When you hear Lanzar, cut the wattage in half, and when you hear them say 4k, cut it in half again. Maybe more. 1k..

Even if you only see 1k out of the amp you should be fine with the L5s. If you were to give an L5 2000w you are just asking for that sub to be torn to shreds.
