1996 jeep grand cherokee build

ok, so my plan is simple. i have 1 year to complete this build starting january 1st. i plan to have 4 15" kicker cvx in a ported wall with 1500 watts per sub. my income isnt the greatest, so thats why i have such a long time frame. i kinda started a little bit today with the big 3, but i had to stop, because i was a dumbass and forgot to check if i had ring terminals or not. now i know im starting early, but there is a reason. right now in my vehicle i am having power issues. when i have my music up, and im not on the gas pedal, my car will die. after replacing the chassis ground the car starts faster, runs better, and doesnt die as often. i am going to pick some 1/0 wire and some ring terminals tomorrow, and ill have some more pics tomorrow. but for now here are some pics of the chasis ground being replaced. i am uploading a video on youtube right now which will show my current system.

how bout read through some other people's build logs and come up with some better options then those cvx's?

hate sounding like a hater or anything like that, but there are way better options out there and at the same price or cheaper.

i have the same ride and when ya do the grounds use the factory ground but get that paint off by the bolt. then run a ground over to the coil mounting stud. running the power is gonna be fun lol

yea, the cvx is just an idea for now, the reason i say kicker is just for the fact that i have rarely had any problems with kicker, and if there was a problem they have a 24 hour return promise, and they have always resolved my problems within 12 hours. i might consider getting some of the new btl n2 18's

yea running that power is going to be a b****, but i think i might have found a way around that, im thinking about running bus bars in it, and when i make the power and ground runs from front to back, i might do it like meade's honda. thanks for the tip about the paint. i didnt think about that.

theres no real direct spot on the passenger side to the fire wall. but u can run it threw the wheell well. run the wire behind the coil. there should be a lil hole that leads to the engine bay. i put a piece of hose to protect the cable. then get close as possible to the engine bay of the wheel well area and drill ya hole. leads right to the passenger side just under the glove box i'll try to get some pix to show ya and here what my jeep does with 2 12's

Nice to see another jeep build... Here is how i ran my wire... I just drilled a nice spot through the firewall...

Hole goes in right below the break booster and comes out up and to the left of the break peddle...
