Loud Avalanche
I'm doing a rebuild for my truck.I'm reusing most of the same equipment but upgrading a few things. My last box was a 6th order bandpass box using 2 DD 9518g subs. The best i could do was 154.8 sealed on dash @ 35hz with 6200 watts clamped. The new box is made out of 5 sheets of 13 ply russian baltic birch plywood. The box will be 25 cft total with 415" of port area for 2 DD Z9518's.I will be using a quad alt setup and 7 Kinetic HC 1800 batteries powering 1 Cactus Sounds elite 12k. Loud Avalanche
Its tuned to 38hz which the DD subs prefer verse's 30 hz that I had the last box tuned to.I have a few more coats of gel coat to put on the inside of the box then start to wet sand for a smooth shiney finish but im going to wait until i get it playing .I want to get a baseline before i start doing alot of finshing work.
