JaM Customs aka mprete
change the port size, what he said is just a box, now add in the factor of the port and get the tune right. Jeremy1998
In the calculator I get 4.34 for 6 X 24 X 40. That tunes to 27.88, which is close enough. After sub and port wood disxplacement, it's going to be damn close to 15 cubes. I have a very rough box designed (dimensions in paint so I remember the shape). Team_DC-Derrick
I downloaded the calculator... And I want to smash my head in with a mallet. I don't have dimensions... Because I need to add in the size of the port to see just how to fit it in... if you dont have dimensions, why are you trying to draw up a box design on calculators? is it just me or does that seem retarded? or am i confused as to what you just said... I think your confused... I know that I need 10 cubes for the sub. I don't know how much the port takes. I need to tune that10 cubes to 28hz. Once it is tuned there, it is actually a 15 cub box from the outside. I didn't design a box because I needed to add the size of the port. Team_DC-Derrick
go out, get the max dimensions you have to work with, then tweak from there for what you need... even post up the dimensions here and we can help you with that Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall.......
