Setting gain with DMM

Alright so does this all seem correct? I've got a saz-3000d that'd I'll be wiring down to 1ohm, on 2 AQ 18s ported to 35hz.

Set gain, subsonic,LPF, bass boost, and phase all the way down on the amp. Bass remote disconnected. Set the sub out to max (+6 I think for me) on the headunit. DMM on AC plugged into speaker terminals with the subwoofers disconnected.

Sq root of 3000w is 54.77

Play cd with 50hz test tone and turn headunit volume up to 3/4. Turn gain up until I reach 54.77 volts on the DMM. Now disconnect DMM and connect subwoofers. Set everything else as:

Subsonic: 10(all the way down)

LPF: 70hz or so

Bass boost: 0

Phase: 0

Did I miss anything? Also should I try to get the gain set as close to 54.77 as possible or keep it down a little bit to avoid clipping? Thanks

From what i learned from asking a similar question a couple days ago, that is all correct. As for the sub output from the head unit, it's your listening or tuning preference. Ideally, set it to the maximum bass output you would use daily.

put the subsonic to like 25-30hz. dont leave it at 10. also, if i recall correctly, sundown remote gain knobs have a clipping LED on them to tell you when you're clipping. so i mean you could set it to 60 volts and the knob will tell you when/if you are clipping. its a really useful feature since you dont REALLY have to use a dmm since the knob's LED will tell you when you're clipping.

Honestly not sure what it's for, but where should the Frequency be set at on the headunit? Settings are 63-80(eighty)-100-125-160-200. Also what about the slope? Leave it at Pass or what?

Sorry this isn't the best picture but here's the woofer settings

Not familiar with eclipse units but I would guess it is the cut off freq for the subwoofer output mine is at 63hz mostly altho at lower volumes I do set it to 80hz and let the subs do a bit more work.
