SSMB6 cant handle under 150 htz. my ssmb8 r at 120 and i had to lower the gain a little. if u want max output without the midbass bottoming out set hp to around 150.

But that dont make sence ill have this huge open freq. range from 80 to 120 Hz?????

No u wont...because x-overs dont completely cancel out a certain freq., the kicker 3 way has a 12db slope which means after a certain freq its set at it reduces 12db per octive. so your subs will still play higher notes just not very prominent. the ssmb6 will play lower than 150...just not very prominent either. no worries it should all blend.

Oo i see so thats what a slope is. So does it go something like this...hi passed at 150 Hz, every 8 Hz lower that 150Hz is will reduce the signal by 12 Db? How audible is 12 Db less? WWere abouts will the sub take over from the bidbass?

They look nice :)

Im not sure if Im liking the speaker grills tho.

LOL yea there the ones that came with the kicker compoent sets..they look nikda plain with no grills tho. Are all 5 1/4 and 6 1/2 grills the same size? Maybe i can get a different set?

Hopefully it sounds good.

See i had some people say to create a seperate champer for the midbass, and leave the two midranges togeather. Maybe ill see how it sounds and then try it that way. Thanks for the compliment :D
