Ok you guys i left to go to the hospital because i fucked my back all the way up on top of being ill.

Well when i came home i noticed my wireless router moved, i go to get online and my desktop is not connected to the internet. Well i power down both the modem and the router, power up the modem, power up the router and still nothing.

I go to check all the other computers, both laptops and the other desktop are working and online but mine aint.

I hook up my TP-Link wireless adaptor that i bought to future proof my desktop and i can connect fine.

When i go through the troubleshooting process i get " "Local area connection does not have valid IP configuration"

Then i unhook the ethernet cable from the computer and try another and i get the same thing... Then i noticed this...

Video was takin with my blackberry so bear with me

Do you have a link light on the router? Did you try connecting it directly to the cable modem? Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the card (driver wise)? Did you try disconnecting all other wires except yours?

Not sure what that yellow light means, depends on the card. Find out why it's moved, someone must have done something or the card is done for (assuming the above all fails).

If at first you do not succeed, you are doing it wrong! -ARS

No i think that someone downstairs moved the other desktop and forgot what was plugged into the other end of the fuckin cable. IDK but if my card is fucked I will be one pissed off individual.

I just built this fuckin computer like 2 months ago.
