Need help w/box for a DD 2512

I just picked up a 2512 and am trying to decide on a box for it but not sure what size I should make it. It's going in the trunk of my monte carlo and will be powered by a saz-1500. Anybody have any idea what size ported box i should build? I just want something that does good on music and can hit the lows pretty decently too. I won't be competing so numbers arent a concern, any ideas?

Wow, I was leaning towards 2 cubes.....just wasn't too sure cause some people were saying I needed to give that sub lots of air space in order for it to get loud and low but I know that you don't just put a sub in a big ass box and call it a day.

Does this design look alright?

Are you still or didn't you used to be a DD dealer? Thanks for your input here, I've been trying to figure out what size box to build for this thing....I thought I'd map it out using WinISD but that only made things more confusing. Well, I did up another design and this is what I came up with

Think my port area and/or port area per foot are too high? Is it right that I put 2 common port walls?.....nevermind the last question, just seen Decaf's post above.

Can you explain this to me? I don't understand how it's 3 common walls...I figured the side wall and back wall were the only ones, what walls make up the 3 common?

That's what I thought too, but Ray knows way more than me....and he is or used to be a DD dealer IIRC so who am I to question him?

As i said on SP, i really love the way they sound on a 2-2.2 cubic feet box with around 34-38SQ of port
