guimond47
hey boys, needing abit of advice. im buying a hifonics amp to push 4 alpine type R's 12" at 1 ohm stable. now, there the brutus line of hifonics and the HFI line. Which one should i pick. i was looking at the HFI2500D. it pushes 2500watt RMS at 1 ohm (so it says) but its not cea compliant. the brutus line is cea compliant. is cea compliant really worth the extra cash ? LET ME KNOW why i pick hifonics? because im going all hifonics except for subs.. and deck Quote Orion 2500D , 2-10" alpine type X. VOPA
The BRZ line is cea-2006 compliant and is pretty much true power, but they suffer a lot in low volt and due to impedance rise. The HFI models produce 400-500 less rms than the rated power.
