would drywall actually work? and how hard is bondo/fiberglassing?

Don't duct tape it or use any wood filer. If it's a GIANT hole just go replace the ENTIRE baffle, don't just ghetto rig it.

He is trying to do it without a jigsaw... hmmm.... redo it and make circle, then drill holes in circle, then hit with hammer, should keep the circle cleaner...

all joking aside, you will prolly need to redo it and I would go buy the $14 walmart zigsaw... they work great! (I got one!!)

its not big its like a little triangle piece where air can escape outside of the sub circle. i figured i could maybe be able to put something over it or something to keep the air from comming out.

its not big its like a little triangle piece where air can escape outside of the sub circle. i figured i could maybe be able to put something over it or something to keep the air from comming out.

If it isnt that big, try to silicone it with caulking or use some Liquid nails...
