I finished the sub end and electrical (for now) portion of my build about six months ago but kinda didn't get around to my doors, my stock speakers were sounding o.k. once i amped them but the tweets finally bid farewell over the holiday. So i have been thinking about trying the Hertz HSK 6.5's but I don't have any personal experience with them, I noticed that they have an XL version that takes a little more power but was wondering how they perform. My car is a daily and i'm running my door's with a Crescendo 1000C4, just looking for some impute/feedback I've heard great things but like i said never have used them befor. I would also be interested in anyones opinions or suggestions as to recommendations, i'm an old M.B. quart fan myself but there stuff doesn't really do it for me since the buy out. I was also looking at the Crescendo 6.5's people have been giving good reviews on them and I really like there amps as you all can see thats whats in my trunk but just wasn't sure about there components. I would appreciate any advice/help those of you who have used these products could give me. AI James Posted January 7, 2011 Report Share Posted January 7, 2011 XL's are far better then stock HSK165 BOth are most likely going to sound vastly better then the cresendos.
