JeremyN
Quick update! Build is now under complete redesign! I just purchased a pair of 10" 12 spoke baskets, and am trying to piece together a perfect set up for efficiency and being loud all the same. Subs will be dual 2 ohm, so I can run the amp at 2 ohm daily which will be roughly 1000 rms daily, 400 rms more than currently running! If anyone has advice I would appreciate all input! from the advise I got from a Showtimespl vid HHRED stated that in your case it would be better to have both 10s as a single voice coil 4 ohm to parallel the two together would be louder than a series parallel configuration . let me know if I am incorrect cause I am in mid work of a build again 2 12" Jeff Vue Customs 1 set MB Quart FSB 216 in doors1 American Bass 100.1 on sub1 Hertz EP2 on doorsJVC deck IPOD controlStock 105 amp alt DD-1big 3new build in Chevy caviler http://www.stevemead...chevy-cavalier/last set up in the ZX2 http://www.stevemead...-current-build/old build log http://www.stevemead...-1998-ford-zx2/ Gold is the money of kings, silver is the money of gentlemen, debt is the money of slaves. Just my .02c that shop needs keep those doors open so they have to charge for it if people think 10k is a lot then they should get into other hobbies.. like masturbating, cause any hobby cost money to maintain Lol no, I'm smarter than that bro haha. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice..............go fuck yourself lol
Audio-Concepts
Im not sure what difference there would be other than a few grams of weight. You would still be running off the same source of power. If they are in the same enclosure, same source of power, same specs per sub, I dont see how a D2 coil to a S4 coil would make any difference. A single 4 ohm sub could be more efficient per say than a D2, as a D2 is more efficient than a quad 1, which all in all can be ran at 4 ohms, whic depending on amp could all have a difference in rise. The video wouldnt play as I am on mobile and my phone is a pain in the ass!
