korey_hofer Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 um yes sub DOES matter alot more than people want to admit, if they let people know that the sub you use does a big difference in how loud you can get they can't get away with buying cheap crap lvl3- no not even close, hell even if the lvl5 was 300 it wouldn't take the crown, absorbing power doesn't mean loud sa series- same thing hd3c- has the potential to do it but from what I have seen quality control is so in the gutter right now I wouldn't touch a new one T3- seen some good results but limited people doing reviews or posting scores a used 9500 would be what I was looking for unless you can find some one to sell you a shocker sig that cheap previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
Ford302Redneck Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 I can't post a link cause I'm on a phone and it links mobile youtube but here's the title. 1x Sundown SA-8 (SPL Coil) -- 152.1 d Just go search that on youtube.
korey_hofer Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 yeah and team toxic bass did that on music not burp with a soundsplinter 8'' on around 1k, it might have been 2 but I think it was one in the "hellboy" previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
Ford302Redneck Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 I agree sub does matter, but having the "best" sub doesn't make you loud. There just isn't a "loudest" sub. In one install sub A could be louder than sub B, but in another sub B could be louder. No sub is going to be the loudest in every install. I just don't see it happening. If that was the case, why doesn't everybody run that sub?

If that was the case, why doesn't everybody run that sub? is that why if you keep the power constant the DDz has killed every other driver it's been up against? the problem is the huge rise it has so it see's less power than the other subs that were in same box. there are like 3-4 top dogs when it comes to all out loud. most sound like shit though previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. With a 8inch aero port. I remember seeing the build pictures. And the reaction videos.

I didn't mean just in SPL installs. I meant everything.
korey_hofer Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 for that low subs aren't the best to use for that anyway, other ways are more efficient, but we are getting off topic previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. Ford302Redneck Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 I was just saying, just cause that sub is the loudest in a SPL install doesn't mean it will be the loudest in a install that peaks a lot lower. No such thing as a sub that's going to be the loudest in every install. Or a 300 dollar sub, or any sub for that matter.
korey_hofer Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 no but he said "loudest" so no matter what freq you need a strong motor force, and that is why if I had to I'd go shocker sig, more motor than any other ferrite motor out now, and sounds good still. one of the best subs I have ever heard. only problem is Mike might have ran out of extra motors now he was selling for 250 + shipping and they fit in a flat rate previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme.
