Kickers To Go Well With Amp on Amazon

Recommended Posts

What's a good amplifier to get with these kickers on amazon

Would the Hifonics HFi1500 Hfi Series D-Class Mono Amplifier 1 x 500 @ 4 OHMS, 1 x 1000 @ 2 OHMS, 1 x 1500 @ 1 OHM be any good?

Nope. Even on an amp that didn't do 700watts, the setup should suck ass. The box is prolly tuned insanely high.

unless you want to power your subwoofers to like 1/4 their handling potential, then go ahead and get the Hfi line of amps. its pretty strange, over the last few weeks we have had MANY MANY members ask constantly about the Hfi series. its really weird haha. but anyways here is an amp that can work.

if you got the Dual 4 ohm version of that setup then you would have cheaper versions, because wiring at 2 ohms requires a larger amp because of the resistance load. having 2 Dual 4 woofers lets you wire at 1 ohm and lets you use the full potential of amps that are 1 ohm stable.

really not that hard dude....took my literally a few button clicks and a single copy paste.

edit: also if you didnt get the subwoofers yet, find one that is dual 4 ohm, or a 1 ohm final load. this will help you save a little money with an amp

Get those subs, like he said, as the dual 4 ohm, that way you can wire down to one ohm.

Amazon has that same amp for sale...however is there any particular reason you want those subs in that crummy box? You could save money and buy the subs and build a better box...just my 2c though

going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box...

Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth.

A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
