reverse light HID's how to

for the HID bulb i carefully held it in place were my stock bulb went and hot glued 4 tabs on it. and when dried i used rubber adhesive witch you can find at autozone. and i sealed it up pretty good. it does not fog up and the hid doesn't really get that hot. ive had these in my car for a while and i did not have one problem with them,

here you can see the light, it does not move abit.

with everything connected, this is what ended up with. not the best of wiring but is good as is.

i put the trunk lid back on and i swear you would never know i have all that stuff under there.

this is were the actual HID bulbs is at does not interfere with anything.

put the battery back on, and now i have power.

and yes i know my battery is beat up and dirty.

interesting idea, but by the time you put it in reverse wouldnt you be wanting to leave? instead of having to wait every time for it to warm up to its full effect?

Not bashing it, but why not just have did LEDs?

its a cool concept, but if im in reverse, im ready to drive, and dont like waiting

surprisingly it doesnt take what you think to warm up, i understand what you mean about reverse and go, cause im the same way. they warm up pretty quick and even when warming witch is a fraction of a second, is still brighter than any led ive used, and i been through a few, led's can only illuminate to certain distance you know. i also just wanted to do something different.

Understandable, I didnt know if you had tried LEDs which is why I asked, if there was a way to eliminate the pause between start up and hot that would be sweet.

still very interesting, and if anyone ever rides your ass to close, put it in reverse at a stop light and piss them off !

lol my next thing is to put a toggle switch so i can turn then on while im driving for those that got there hibeams on or are tale gating.
