Yeah man, i´m also looking forward on that,it´s the last POS box i´m gonna try, after this, i know excactly what box size and port area my 2512´s like, i´m pretty sure my next box for the 4 2512´s is gonna be loud as fuck to the ears and on the meter, only need to test out a few more tricks like the flush mounted sub, kerf port, routing edges, routing sub holes, etc etc :)

and then ur sellin me the tl right :D lol

might have missed it but what about removing the rubber gasket from the front of the sub and using aluminum or duct tape to seal it up. I guess theres a lot of tweaking that I can do to go from 141.4 to 3 or 4 more dbzzzzz

PPI dbl din
DC Level 3
1.77cubes net tuned to 33htz.
DC audio 2.0k
CT Pro Audio 8" in front, 6.5 in rear

Hey man, i already tried the duct tape on the sub and gained a little bit, but i didn´t try without the rubber gasket and duct taping the sub, i´m gonna try it out soon when i get back from Costa Rica, nice input, another thing to try out on the list :D

One I've been wanting to try is taping the ports.

Assuming your PVC pipes are unflared, try taping from the edge of the inside of the box into the pipe.

Nop, no flares right now until i try with a 6" port, i can try what you want but after i´m done with port area and tuning tests, explain me a little bit better what you want me to try and i´ll do it!!

Okay.

Here's a 3D rendering of what I mean.

Is this how your ports are inside the box?

Flush mounted to the wood?

If so, try using Shur Tape to streamline the airflow from the edges of the box into the pipe.

You could also try making the port dented like a golf ball. :)

Now i get it hommie, yes that´s how it looks right now, once again, testing it´s on pause because i´m working on the swift right now, i´m going to Costa Rica next week for a big show :)

Anyways, i honestly think it´s a very good idea, i didn´t think about it before, now that you talked about that thing, i might also try routing that hole so it makes something like a little flare before i heat the PVC and make the real flare, something like what i wanna do to the sub hole on the inside, that should help don´t you think???

tell me a little bit more about the golf ball idea, i mean, how would you do that?? i´m all ears :D
