How does one determine the pressure points in an enclosure? The ones that should have 45's?

Great question, after this testings i learned that, at least on a regular ported box, the pressure points are the ones where you need to help the air be pushed to the port??? i dunno for sure just yet, but taking as an example a subs back/port back application (same thing that sub up/port up and sub forward/port forward if you see the box from another angle), i would get just 2 vertical 45´s on the back corners; on a sub up/port back i would get only the 45 on the horizontal back corner, someone correct me if i´m wrong...

PS: Every application is different, i´ve seen people gaining A LOT by doing 45´s on every corner of a wall!!

Haha solo lo bueno.

@topic in most applications for a trunk build would it be recommended to fire forward completely sealed off from the trunk? In the same scenario would it be recommended to put 45's in the two back corners?

Some idea's I've had for testing:

Taping the inside the box around the perimeter of the sub with duct tape.

A test showing smaller speaker wire and bigger speaker wire.

Different types of terminals between the amp and the battery. Like the knukonceptz one that you just stick the wire in and crank down the allen head vs soldered ring terminals.

Also, try inserting a termlab in a box and taping it shut. Then addressing to send it to.... :D I kid

Keep up the good work.

pressure points are near sub and near port entrance inside the box.

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
