I also want you guys to know that, this scores, aren´t with seats,mirror, visors and center console on the positions they need to be, last time i gained almost 2 dbs if i remember corretly by doing this, so i know this score is way higher than it is right now, anyways, to the fun part :)

After hugh´s tip about covering the sub pole hole (or whatever the name it is) , i tried it out:

New score:

That was a 0.14 dbs gain, not bad man!!!

Now, the part everyone was waiting for, duct taping the mofo sub!!!!

BOOM!

That was a 0.2 dbs gain, there´s people that have gained way more by doing that, for me, a gain it´s a gain, i only dusctaped the sub, i know if i applay more on other things i would raise even more, that´s coming soon!!

After this, i changed from 2 4" ports with a 39 hz tuning to 3 4" ports with a 39 hz tuning,i raised A LOT the port area as you could see, i knew that if a dropped the score a lot then port area was ok, if score was almost the same then this means i need something between those port areas to raise the score a little bit more. I actually don´t have a picture with the box with 3 ports and a single 2512 , sorry about that, after that testing i opened another hole for other 2512 just for fun, couldn´t even try it because the other sub got fucked up on my bass race round at finals a week before and i didn´t even know

Anyways, imagine the box without that sub inverted lol

Score with single 2512 and 3 4" ports:

As you can see, i only dropped 0.2 dbs after adding a third port, this shows us that 2 4" ports isn´t the best on this application, this means that my next testing will be with a single 6" port with a 39 hz tuning, i´m pretty sure that i will raise a few tenths, wait for it very soon

Last test, i tried inverting the polarity on the amplifier as my man hugh recommended, + from the sub to the - of the amp and viceversa, scored dropped 0.3 dbs, i guess this wasn´t the best thing to try out on this application, once again, maybe other people have gained with this, not me

YES SIR!!! that i need, but that´s gonna be at the end of the testing, we all know how much i can raise the score by doing that already, let´s try out other things and keep recollecting information, after ALL the testing, there will be a new box with all the goodies that we tried out on this topic, we´ll see a good score at the end of everything i hope!!!

Glad you like it my man, yes i always knew you could gain some but i didnt have a sensor to test it out, i know for sure that on other applications you gain way more than that, i´m gonna try duct tape on a few other things, just come back in a few days and you´ll see some updates

Thanks a lot man, that means a lot, this topic is for helping out people that don´t have a sensor, yes you can gain tons without even spending 10$ hehe, on this last box i didn´t install the printing vinyl, 45´s , flares or anything, it´s just another testing box, you´ll see that at the end of ALL testings, i´m gonna build a last box with all the goodies that we all tested on this topic!!
