Alright thanks

when I had my van I never ran a negative to the front, I just drilled a 3 inch hole in the floor of my van, and ran two 1/0 gauge right to the main frame rail which runs right up to the front, so I was set :D but the only down side is you now have a huge hole in your car, ha ha

Wait... Do you have to ground the rear battery to the front battery negative or could you ground it to metal or chasis in the back?

You know how you avoid that? Man the fuck up and bang her best friend sister mom cousin worst enemy and never look back.

either, just needs to have a ground path back to the alternator ground, which is basically the engine block and everything around it, so you can go right to the frame and be fine as long as your car frame is mostly one piece

From what I've read the reason for the negative run from rear battery to front is that its more efficient than the spot wields along your frame. As for the fuse its best to put it on power line near each battery in case of short the fuse closest to short hopefully catches it.

the only fuses i used is to my 4500 anythind else is realy unessasary. running all those fuses is just costing u resistance. No bodys grounds in my vehice gained .8 db so yea

I dont know how your setup is, but as long as its fused by any batteries you eliminate 90% of the risk
