Forevrbumpn Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 And heres the coil after a few solid months of beating the hell out of this thing. All i can say is Ken's work is INSANE! LOL That thing is still alive? Did you know that the sub only has single layer tinsel leads too? I try and tell people, with the spiders I use that come with Tinsel leads stitched, or the tinsel lead I use, a lot of people will ask for two layers and only run 1000 rms. These tinsels, single layer will handle up to 4000 rms. Its all about usage, and amp tuning. But if the tinsel leads broke with a AQ3500, I wouldn't be to surprised. Glad it held up so far BTW if you ever need pairs next time, I finally got a motor vendor to sell to me I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

bdubii Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 ^ Well I'll admit, I didn't think it would turn out good just wrapping it with carpet but it looks like it turned out really good.
