ChevyBoy95
I have a lvl 4 15 in 3.4 cuFt @ 34/35 Hz and was wondering how it would compare to the AA Havoc 15 since the AA has 1250rms and 30mm xmax instead of 1000rms and 23.5mm xmax. not going for comps, just want to see if there is a noticable step up from the lvl 4 to the AA. (AA will probably be in 4 cubes @ 34/35Hz tuning. (side note: i love the sound of the 2nd note in put on, and the 4th note. my lvl 4 hammers both) lvl 4 is on 1.5k and so will the AA. I will have a HO alt to maintain 14v for steady electrical soon. ****JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF THE AA WOULD BE LOUDER AND HAVE MORE AIR MOVEMENT**** Best Score to Date : 160.5 dB Outlaw (47Hz)[4 XM 15's & 2 Taramps Bass 12k's] BL : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147800-chevyboy95s-4-15s-7krms-wall-1533-db-on-half-power/YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/hitemwiththeflex/
iKidwell
The havoc will probably have a little less output, as it is aimed more towards sq, but you never know. Both are good subs c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
hdorre
You probably wouldn't notice an audible difference. I'd choose the AA over DC because Nick and Scott have been in the business longer and have more technology in their higher series subs than DC currently has. I don't imagine their lower powered stuff being bad at all. If you already have the lvl 4, I would just keep it until it blows, gets stolen, etc. On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
