Trying to build a LOUD regular cab truck box

That is a nice setup and it would work. However, i'm taller than 5'5" (6'3" to be exact). The dodges have a bunch of room, but judging where the seats are positioned, my knees would fully be in the dash and it would be unpractical for me. Thanks you sharing the pictures though.

the guy that drives is kinda short, but he has passengers in the 6foot range and they fit fine. the 4 12s actually sits back further.

but since you have 1 12, you could do the first style box, only a little shorter, since it wont need to be as big.

Im just showing you that you have alot more space than you think.

you could so a sub forward port up box, have the sub in the center with the port up in the drivers side and you amp on the passenger side. You should be able to do a box 10" deep and still have plenty of leg room.

Those boxes are dope, funny the 2 12's are louder than 4. I have a wedge box in my truck, sub between my buckets and 2x12 port out the pass side. It's about 2cu/ft and sounds loud for a 10", might want to try something like that. Give it a good amount of space so you don't choke the port.

we did this back in 05 for a customer with a single 12 (Rockford T1-12) down firing... client was 6'5" and he wanted an armrest at that height. I personally would of gone a bit more rounded but we only had the vehicle for a day... The bass was awesome and he thought it was one of his best sounding vehicles (we did about 12 vehicles for him)

Thanks for the help guys. I'm kinda wanting to go back with a design similar of what i used to have. However, from information i've gathered, it sounds like port firing up or to the passenger side would be better than the drivers side. So i'm thinking just keeping my 1 sub and having sub behind passenger seat (about 2 cubes), 25 in^2 or port tuned to 36 hz. Will the 36 hz still be pretty musical? I'm used to tuning to 32-34, so i don't know what raising it a couple of hz would affect on playability.

Oh and here's a picture of the box i built back in high school that did a 140.0 on the dash, and about a 142 in the kick.
