I voted for #2, it'll be easier to drive and no be so "in your face" with the top mounted speakers, plus it gives you more pillar options.

Good luck Ric on whatever you and trippi decide.. I know it will amaze us all when your done.. Im still trying to picture 200 speakers in there, but you will find places for them all to go.
