best way to get the best bass out of a convertable

Whats the best way to get good bass with a conertable top up and down ??

Just asking if I ever do a future build?

I'm talking for daily driver, if I wana gona do a competition I would throw the hard top on

Im in that boat too..

with a drop top just try and go with the best you can of course...

With me I have noooo room in my trunk, So I bought a nice single sub and a good amp.

My car is loud for what it has in it, and overall..

Iv done some meca shows and have been louder then alot of other people with more subs and amps and a hardtop.

With the top down some songs suck ass on bass and some songs still slam..

still working on sealing up i have the trunk sealed up as best as i can now im working on sealing up from baffle back

There was a build log on one forum a few years ago with a convertible, it was a 4th order box that filled up the back, i think it was doing pretty good on the meter too.

A wall sure would look awkward with the top down, you'd have to make a bis fiberglass trim panel over the back to make it look nice.

Not to mention that your roof would get more excursion then the subs.
