SQMonte Posted February 3, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2011 that doesnt look bad at all... yeah like they said before.. you godda keep building the layers of paint and keep sanding... the first couple times i go over it very lightly so it doesnt get very wet... that gives it a little surface to start with... and wood filler first helps even more..Yep, will definitely use filler next time before the primer gets laid, just makes things that much easier. Steph3n1 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Share Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) mix a pretty hot batch of bondo (don't overdo it) slather it on fairly thick where ever you see a dip or raised area on the box. Wait until its dry enough to where its very hard to chip with your finger. Grab some 200 grit and a DA sander and get it somewhat level. then hit it with 300 then 400 and it should be good to go. Dont use resin its WAY more dificult to shape and sand.
