Would these Components work with this Amp?

Recommended Posts

Amplifier= Kicker 10IX500.4

4-Channel Class D Car Amplifier

Power Output (in RMS):

4 ohms: 75 watts x 4 channels

2 ohms: 125 watts x 4 channels

4 ohms bridged: 250 watts x 2 channels

Peak Power Rating: 500 watts RMS

Speakers= Kicker 08KS650.2 6.5" 300 watt (150 each) component speakers (im a get 2 sets)

150 Watts peak each speaker (300 watts total per pair)

75 watts RMS each speaker (150 watts RMS per pair)

6 1/2" woofer

1" Tweeter

4ohms

would this amplifier be a good decision? only thing im confused about is the tweeters? are they in 1 channel or are they separate(like are they included in the 75 watts or are they also 75 watts, so intotal one side is 150 watts?)

thanks

Yeah, they'll work well with eachother.

Each component set includes 2 crossovers. Each crossover uses its own channel. One mid and one tweet connect to each crossover.

they come tweets and mids hooked into cross over each hooking to their own spot, the cross over has 1 input aka from your amp, to answer your question yes that amp and those speakers should work fine. and you really answer your question, the tweets are 75rms and so are the mids. in depth is cross over sends only freq "a" and above to your tweets at 75 rms and then send freq "b" and below to your mids at 75 rms. hope that helps you out
