pstone11 Posted October 1, 2007 Author Report Posted October 1, 2007 One of the last pieces of the puzzle... This morning is going to be all about getting these seats mounted up and safe. They came out of 2000ish mazda millenium... I think. The reason I went with buckets is to snag a little more room where the center console is going to be for my crossover and other stuff and such, and to make it so the box isn't ported right into the back of a bench seat - Hopefully there will be a couple port options once these are in there. This is definitely fly by the seat of your pants system building right here.... each step I complete totally changes the next step in the project - in this case the whole box design, that's why the box isn't started yet... pstone11 Posted October 1, 2007 Author Report Posted October 1, 2007 Got my original seat brackets drilled apart - Then spent the next while getting all these factory mazda brackets drilled and grinded off - they decided it was necessary to use huge rivits and also weld all the brackets on..
