Big 3 question???

So I Did the big 3 on my truck an now the lights dim, dashboard everything. It didn't use to before and now it does??Everytime the bass hits bam it dims

Any one know why

is the stock charging wire not hooked up? some vehicles you have to keep that wire connected. check your grounds. how many watts are you pushing? is the big 3 the only electrical upgrade you have done?

The big 3 upgrade is done to give your amplifier "better access" to the vehicles available amperage. The big 3 in some cases can fix dimming lights, but it may also, like in your case, may also cause them to dim since the amplifier can suck out more amps faster. This is completely normal in my opinion, although I do find it a bit strange that you didn't have any dimming before, but now you do. Normally people have dimming in the first place, upgrade to the big 3, and then get more dimming.

If you don't have an alternator or extra batteries that's still alright, the big 3 is a good foundation to build on for further electrical upgrades.

^^^ This. When doing the big 3 you only add to the stock wiring not replace it. If that isnt what happened then I dont know whats going on if they didnt dim before you made the upgrade.
