    A D5100 is the closest size to a D35.

    ive used FatMat, Dynamat, and soon I'm getting alpha damp and some damp pro. FatMat is just terrible all the way around.. like Jon said it smells and doesn't stick very long. Dynamat is better than FatMat but i just want something better. I got the samples of alpha damp and damp pro Jon sent me and compared them to Dynamat. The alpha damp is WAY better quality than Dynamat, and LOL at FatMat compared to alpha damp.. damp pro and Dynamat are very similar but I feel that damp pro is going to be a little better quality. The alpha damp is going on my roof and the damp pro is going everywhere else.

    You might upgrade your stock battery too... Shouldnt be needed since you're getting an alt and an extra D925. Just something to think about.

    upgrade the wiring, get a bigger battery, do the big 3 lastly. invest in a DD-1.. its the BEST investment I've made in car audio. period.

    from what I've read, extra batteries only take like 10 amps (each) or so to charge. you should be ok. you just might have to top them off every now and then with a charger.

    oh really? ok hmm I guess that last owner decided to fix a D35 yellow top in it. sucks that GM made the 2006s different than any hummer year made =/. my uncle is cool tho hes going to help me make a custom battery mount so I can get a D3400. I gotta take the truck to his house so we can see if I can fit a D3100... thats what I really what. I really wish I would have entered the sotm contest now. oh well
