baseballer1100
Well I got a house and I figured if I wanted something loud then this would be it. Started today probably wont be done until next week. Lots of prep work for paint ahead of me and im waiting on my jasper jig from pe to get the front on. I found a Harmon Kardon avr 247 for pretty cheap prolly gonna use that. Anyways pics: Alot of wood to make these monsters And alot of scrap wood: Top: Sides: Sides and bottoms: They are gonna make a great pair: The box for the Mid still needs to be built:

baseballer1100
in less then a day: Got the circles Cut and what not: Put together: What happens when you are not thinking clearly: I forgot the boxes for the mids. This is a big mistake. But i feel a have a good plan for resolving this hopefully my plan works. It might be a little bigger then the enclosure they suggest but i guess i can always put some fill in it. Plus i found a better use for the box anyways:
baseballer1100
My secret Plan 8" concrete tube. In Place Why the **** i decided to fiberglass it in there i have no idea but i did. baseballer1100
Lots and lots of sanding to do... SO MUCH BONDOOOOOO After Bondoing the hell out of the speakers I sanded them like there was not tomorrow... Anyways Sanded: I then decided I didn't really want a huge roundover so I just used a 3/8ths roundover on the front and back. The design doesn't call for this but I did so I did it. The speakers were then ready for primer. I happen to have a spray booth so I used a shellac based primer and sprayed it out of my hvlp gun. First One: Another View: Both of them together. What a great Pair: And then carpet on the table to keep from scratches: Im gonna bust out some 220 grit shortly and sand these mother****ers and then they are ready for the final coat. Still deciding on a color..
