I had an power acoustic amp about 3 years ago, it was very overrated, and wasn't stable at 2 ohms bridged, but i put some 120mm pc fans on it and it played all day long,

what i'm saying is, expect them to get the job done, just not near as good as other brands.

i had sold my buddy one couple months back and it sounded good on his "1000 watt amp" but got sick of it so we added my powerbass xa 3000d at 4 ohms giving her around 1300 rms and this sub gets loud like this sub has been used for a solid 5 years and is still stiff as hell and gets stupid loud being a mofo and all

1700 from what?

Why would it matter how many ports it had?

A brutus 2608 @ 1ohm ...gains set low....and ports aren't sub specific ...do whatever works.

ive prolly had the most experience here with mofos. ive had a total of probably 6 12's and played with a few 15's. i had a wall of 4 12's running off of two pa3000db's. lets just say the little crack that a rock had made in my windshield turned into multiple cracks across the entire windshield. they were surprisingly loud and low for how much they costed. sound quality was decent. (better for rap than fast metal)
