Whats Wrong With Kicker?

What is wrong with Kicker Car Audio? i see alot of people on this forum hatin on kicker. maybe its jus there opinion of the brand but why hate on a brand that makes 18" Monsters? (Solo X) and a 10k amp? as far as i know they are better known and i say pound really hard and whoever says the L7's have no SQ must have heard there kickers in a 5 gallon bucket not hatin on anyone but help me here with this... and Kicker has numerous awards for SQ and SPL all this info is found at kicker.com but yea jus thought id speak my mind...

Probably because a lot of people that arn't real real big in car audio use them and say there the greatest thing ever when there is better. im not hating on kicker, i have 2 zx1000.1's and love em.

L5's have better SQ than L7's IMO for somereason the L5's hit the lows better than the L7's but kickers are decent subs but hes right there are better subs out there Fi,DC,RE,etc...

to the average person who just goes to the shops and buys stuff yeah kicker is great but when you really get serious you just learn there is alot of stuff that is better some even for cheaper but kicker isnt bad . ist just opinions. my $1000 pair of lz 15's didnt have shit on my $450 pair of fi ssd but im sure there are people that cant get l7's louder than ssd and q's .

i dont think people hate, they just know there are better brands:

l7 are notorious for burning up vcs

l5 have surround tearing issues

almost all kicker subs have to high of a fs, to low bl, to much $ on marketing not enough on quality assurance

but almost all of their amps rock

and the solox is meh.... i would rather have two really nice 15's for the price of 1 fart note solox18

dont get me wrong, they arent bad... theres just better for the same $

Personally I wouldn't run any of their subs... but I don't hear many people hating on their amps? I have two 2500's and they seem to be doin the job!

kicker is a great company there stuff worx really well. the only problem i have with them is the price of their stuff.

$400+ for a 15" cvx is bad when i can get better things for less

Great company, I have used kicker products in one form or another since 1998.

I have never had a problem with thier customer service or dealing with returns.

I have learned over time that there are better products for the money.

But Kicker has treated me very well.

Myself I love my kicker stuff. There isn't much in my car that doesn't have kicker on it. My highs/mids Kicker, My Sub Kicker, My Amps Kicker and as of yesterday all wires KICKER!!! I can pound all day everyday and don't have worry about nothing. I know there may be better but I like the dependiblity(sp) of my Kicker stuff. My first sub was a Kicker comp 12 back in 1988. I've have killed alot of speakers and amps since then but I alway come back to kicker.
