LETS SEE !!!!! i'm on it right now! it's rendering. It's just a box sitting on a platform in the shop but god DAMN that thing is really nice so far...especially the lows. Normally i'm not a big fan of a box on the floor of a shop (as opposed to being IN a car), but it is pretty nice. These little 12's are acting like 18's for sure You can just sense the authority in them.....

when i was overpowering my SA's you could hear a lot of motor noise when they reached their limits. you arent going to smack the former against the back plate so you will just have to pay attention with your nose and try listening to some test tones and bring the level up with your remote gain knob and you will hear the shape of the sound change. So just learn to hear that and know the smell of coils and you should be ok. Maybe

this box sounds GOOOOD!!!! it has that HOWL i am looking for in a box. As heavy as it is, it try's to walk off of it's platform....video coming next! editing now

Before i make this thing look finished...or at least better than a "wood box", i really want to hear it. I also know that with direct lead subwoofers, i need to address what i am going to do about the wires. The subs will need to come out when needed and i really do not want to cut the wires every time and make them shorter and shorter. Especially since the coils on each sub will be in series. If i wire them clean, in series, that leaves 2 direct lead wires really short (and together) while the remaining wires are still long. Fine for the time being, but if i ever change my mind later, guess what? Ill have STUBS to deal with. So out of necessity, i decided to make these little terminals. It might seem like a waste, with a Neo terminal block feeding these terminals....but believe me it isn't. If these subs were NOT direct lead style, i wouldn't have to do this. If i am gonna though, it might as well be clean and YES, these bolts are threaded directly into the bars. They are not loose at all. Super tight.
