Before i make this thing look finished...or at least better than a "wood box", i really want to hear it. I also know that with direct lead subwoofers, i need to address what i am going to do about the wires. The subs will need to come out when needed and i really do not want to cut the wires every time and make them shorter and shorter. Especially since the coils on each sub will be in series. If i wire them clean, in series, that leaves 2 direct lead wires really short (and together) while the remaining wires are still long. Fine for the time being, but if i ever change my mind later, guess what? Ill have STUBS to deal with. So out of necessity, i decided to make these little terminals.
It might seem like a waste, with a Neo terminal block feeding these terminals....but believe me it isn't. If these subs were NOT direct lead style, i wouldn't have to do this. If i am gonna though, it might as well be clean
and YES, these bolts are threaded directly into the bars. They are not loose at all. Super tight.
