  1. i'm all out of WD, but I have some astroglide, think that will work? jk So the hub nut actually stays, and i unscrew the two screws to get it off? I have replaced studs on my old s10, and you just punch them out, and then back in. Takes some work, but it happens.
  2. Please do bro, Thanks! Thanks for all the replies guys. My s10, when i pulled the calipers off, then the bold on the hub, the rotor just popped off.
  3. I have a 1998 Honda Civic LX. I broke a lug stud off the other day. I bought a new one, but cant for the life of me get the hub off. I know to remove the brake caliper/pads, then pop the bolt off, then the rotor should slide right off. i cant get a crescent wrench, or channel locks on it, so i am going to buy a 1\" 1/4 socket. so i can get a cheater pipe on that bitch. Then there are 2 screws, do those need to come out as well? I tried a Google search, but all i could find was on a prelude, and it said to drop the axle, and ball joints, and all that shit. Before i get much further, i need to know if my civic is the same way, and if so, I\'m taking it to the dealership. Here are some pics... BTW, i am also going to rust kill, and paint black all the rusted shit on the front two, and repaint the drums in the back. Before my new wheels get in. That is a flat head tip stuck in the indention on the hub bolt.
  4. I have to admit, when i was 17, i thought very seriously about taking my air conditioner out of my room at home, and putting it in my truck, but then i remembered i wouldnt have air at home, so i changed my mind real quick on that one. But I almost did it. BTW, i was on my own living with 3other guys when i was 17. Damn, good times. Party Monday through Sunday, see ya next week.
  5. Exactly. I had like 3 programs that would not work, so i just searched google, and found the drivers. Once I installed those, it was all GTG.
  6. those rims make me think of a older escaldae. 98ish-02 ones.
  7. Finally someone taking Vistas side. I've been saying since day one, that all the people that hate on vista either: A. Haven't tried it. B. Don't know how to use a computer. or C. Don't have the machine to back it up. Which "C" isn't completely Vistas fault. And what i mean by don't know how to use a computer is that they don't search for the proper drivers to make things work, but instead sit there with their thumbs up there ass expecting it to "just work" Thank you Steve for the backup on this issue. Sorry for the rant, but it really bugs me when people talk shit about the new hot thing out, when they have no personal experience, "my homeboy said", or just don't know WTF they are doing. To all the aforementioned people misusing vista/hating on it, It\'s because...
  8. This is how we do it in the south. 5 HUGE ice chests of crawfish with mushrooms/sausage/potatoes/onions/lemons cooked in them, then another ice chest with cabbage, onions, potatoes and mushrooms! Which reminds be, i brought a flat full home with me, i think i'll go eat some sausage and shrooms, and maybe a few crawfish!
  9. The computer part wont look hat great, but if you watch a movie, or play a DVD, it should look great.
  10. Your acer looks exaclty like mine but it's white.
  11. Dude that i am buying my black with chrome lip'd 17"s w/ tires for my black civic didnt call me today to bring them by, and won't answer his phone! FUCK THAT!!
  12. I got another new monitor the other day, and i just thought this'd be a good post. So post up what size ya got, and pics if ya got any! Please don't hate on my shelf. It was rebuild to accomdate for my new 22". It will soon be replaced with a birch one stained to match the desk. Here it is when i hooked it up when the FedEx man dropped it off. I think mine looked bigger on the stand. :/
  13. Oh yea. Smooth as a newborn babys ass right here Here are the bolts. One on the right is done. Sanded, rust killed, and primed. The other is just sanded and rust killed. Here are some shots of the finished one that went back in on the primered side. Also, the guy that i bought the truck from stopped by, and said it was looking real sharp. The last time he saw it, it was completely stock. This made me happy. Oh, and the fact that he is going to buy my front and rear bumper for 100 bones is nice too. Now i just got to come up with 50 more to get my chrome smoothie bumper, and new valance! Today was a good day! Except for running out of primer.
  14. Someone go ahead and delete my other topics, maybe this one will let me update my title. Aight, i got up this morning with intentions of fixing the road splatter behind the rear wheels. Bad chipped paint back there. Well, i got one side done, before i ran out of primer. And well shit, i\'m broke, so i\'ll have to wait to do the other side. But anyways, you guys already know, i am trying to do as much work as a can so when i take it to the paint shop, i can come out as cheap as possible. I spent about 2hours on this, a pro, probably could have done it in 45mins-1hour. Hell, that is ~100 bones taken off of my paint bill. See what i\'m getting at? yea. Pics. This is the way it looked before. Body was in good shape, just the paint was wrecked. Here is the bolts that hold the fender/bed from flexing. The one on the right was sanded, but not rust killed/primed yet. The one on the left hadn't been touched yet. Didn't get any pics of it sanded down to metal, but here it is taped up, and primed.
  15. LOL @ you noobs to Logan's! Meg, What did you say to them? LOL. soo funny ;P

  18. Got the HUGE ass chevrolet emblem off the tailgate today. Now i can sand it down, and do some body work on it, and prime it up. Also got to sand down, and prime from the bodyline down, and up to the wheel well(where all the over spray is. Also why i wasnt concerned about the spray b/c it's fixing to get sanded down). Lots of chipped paint there. Jesus, i hate body work, but in a few months when it's painted, it will be all worth it! I also mounted my LCD on the new shelf i made. I had a little advantage on that. The back panel is 1/8" thick, but solid as hell. so i bought some longer screws, and drilled some holes, and just screwed it in. to hell with buying an LCD mount! IT won't move either. it is sturdy.
