you can get something like a the new scion xb or a honda pilot or something that is semi-suv but has good mileage. idk that's just my opinion, its better than using a trunk in a sedan.

that crunch is wayyy overrated, only has an 80amp fuse on it, so it might only be doing 800 watts. you might as well go for a fi ssd

i have an asus EEE PC 8.9" screen. very portable and perfect for school and basic stuff. the best tihng is the battery life, it goes up to 7 hours. $350 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16834220441 just suggesting what i have maybe you need something portable, i think its also a perfect laptop for a term lab. edit: my bad i have the 10" version and its about 100 bucks more

x2, i have 1 hc1800 up front and 3 hc2400 on the back and a 240 amp alt. using a hifonics goliath 5k watts. i don't experience any voltage drops when my car is moving even at full tilt.
