I want to jump in too. I would like your input/suggestions, I currently have (2)RF T1500.1's and I am thinking of adding a T600.4 for the mids and highs. I'm planning on upgrading the alt to a DC Power 270xp, stock battery up front. Sadly I can only afford one battery now, so I was thinking a D3100 in the trunk. If I read the promo correctly, I add the XS power logo in my sig and I get free shipping on a single battery

It would be badass to have a 20 xs d3100 battery bank for my house.

Yeah there is no battery banks to buy, which means there is no charge controller to buy. Since the inverter is mounted behind each solar panel there is no need to have super thick DC wiring, just basic romex. I am not coming off the grid, I am interconnecting to the grid, if I produce more in a month then I get a credit on my next bill, also if I produce more per year then I consume my electric company will pay me, pending I have the right paperwork, permits, etc... I am sure every power company is a little different. The panels have a 25 year warranty that guarantees 85% power output. The 1500 was for 2 panels, and if my math is correct i'll save about 30.00 on my electric bill. 30.00 X 12 months = 360.00. 1500.00 / 360 = 4.16 year payback, leaving me with 20 years of payback. 360 X 20 years = 7200.00. 7200 X 85% = 6100 back to my pocket. Last year before I wanted to move, I put about 20" of cellulose insulation in the attic. I also did the silicone around the windows, changed to CFL light bulbs, etc. I was going to replace the windows this year, but screw it I am moving and not going to put money into the house unless it can be disassembled and taken with me.

Let me start out by explaining what I have right now. I have two BP 175W panels, two enphase 190 grid-tied micro inverters, a ac disconnect, and everything wired to my breaker panel. I'll make a video in a little bit and show the whole system. These are newer inverters that connect directly to the back of the solar panel. One panel one inverter, you can connect 14 panel/invertor sets together. I am working on getting a group purchase together just for the panels and inverters, there are some small purchases that need to be made at installation like: Romex 10/2, a/c disconnect, depending on your breaker panel maybe a new breaker, a mount of some kind. Thanks man The panels/inverter combo will run 625.00 plus shipping, and depending on the quantity of panels maybe a couple quick connects at 3.00 a piece. So far it has been a great investment. I have noticed a nice drop in electric. I havent received a bill yet since these have been connected, I'll throw a screen shot of my monitoring program to show the difference. I paid a little bit more because I didn't think about a group buy unitl after i got connected. I also bought a rack for the panels, which now I think is a complete waste of 140.00. I could have purchased lumber and made my own rack for a lot less. I paid 1500.00 plus another 300.00 for installation, no permits because we are moving within the year. I'll pull permits and contact the power company at my next residence. The price depending on quantity is roughly 625.00 a set (might have to throw in a couple of quick connects at 3.00 each) I paid a friend 300.00 to make the connection, bring 100' of 10/2 romex, a new breaker for the box, some pvc to run the wires through. Making a video after this post.

Just got finished installing the second panel. Turned off almost everything in the house to see if the meter would spin backwards. I'll have another video tomorrow morning showing how much faster it spins with the second panel on. If anyone is interested. I am working on a group buy.

Porsches suck for that reason. I had to jump one at work one time, it was an long process. If i remember right you hook the jumpers to the fuse box and ground to the door hinge, from there you can pop the trunk. then you connect to the battery like any other car, let it sit for a while and try to crank. If it is on a battery charger, just let it sit for a couple hours and try again.

I will stand behind FiBTLforlife, SHIT happens fast. I'm in S.FL; land of the grey hairs. Ride with a pack of riders, watch how they react to situations, watch how they prep for situations(riding in a certain lane for that area), and it's a lot easier for younger riders because people may not see one bike but will probably see 5, 10, or more bikes. I flipped my 600 at less then 15mph and had a small case of road rash (IT WAS HORRIBLE) because I looked away for less then one second and I didn't have the expierence to brake properly.
