Hot glue gun to hold the rings in place. Hot glue will also hold the material in place fine. No need for staples. Resin it and let it dry. Very fine cloth matting ontop of the stretched material to give it strength. It's very easy to work with. Don't add too much at once or it'll sag. Once you can't flex the large areas of the pod it's time to add as much filler as you need to fill low points and generally smooth the lot out. Good luck!

I did over 147dB on Termlab with a single 15" sub off one amp in my old wagon. It was all under window line and burped at 40Hz, so yes, it is possible to get loud without a wall. The box was only 3.4ft^3, it could have gotten more with more space.

Never said it was a weak amp, but 5,300watts on 14.4v isn't 5500w in real world conditions. You will see between 3.5 and 4k with it realistically in a daily application. If you compare all amps in realistic conditions you realise how much power that actually is.

Sorry to rain on your parade but I know it doesn't. The Z1a might, just but realistically you're looking at 3.5-4kwrms 12v 1ohm from a Z1. Nice amp though it should serve you happy if you look after it. The Z1a
