  1. Sorry, it's called "We want in" by Outlawz. Internet says they were in a Tupac video or song. Not sure why the guy reminds me of Jeezy, but I really like the music beat, too. ....Audiofanaticz, lol, yep the same thing, got them at Lowes, at first I wanted one small one across the center tunnel, but I ended up with the two longer ones on each side....just for looks to break up all the grey.
  2. Maybe old to you guys, I just found this on itunes.... Outlawz -- "We want in" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">
  3. Stay safe! I'm in Austin, TX, we'll get the very edge of the rain and wind from Ike, hopefully no power loss. Imma keep my PT in the garage anyway.
  4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RANDY! ....Quack on for many more years!
  5. A buddy of mine is looking for a car cover that he can use for basic protection during bad weather, no garage for his PT, and Ike headed our way! Anyone recommend a decent brand cover to look for?
  6. OHHHH...I thought Big Oki was holding the camera and figured he couldn't be touching the door and the sucker is just that loud.... Ok this means we need more 'free air' no touch vids! Steve, is it louder now? It can't have that much actual play time on it, but I think you posted that your new BTLs got louder as they broke in.(???)
  7. I haven't seen this vid yet )still at work). I think the one you did with Big Oki where he was standing next to door, and you in drivers seat, showed some serius blurring. I wonder how much actual play time is on the subs and if they "break in" and get a little louder, too. Powerful stuff!
  8. I ordered a used '06 PT console to upgrade my '03. (different console design). I plan to finish it with SEM paints. Question is, can I actually get rid of the texture/grain in the console plastic with high build primer alone, or would it take more than that??? Reference Epicenter's sticky on painting plastics in this section.
  9. just reading through this post for the first time. So I finally got my new setup up and running for the first time this week, and have a few thoughts, and questions. My previous system was only a 400w mono Hifonics Zeus amp running a 15" sub then 4 12"s and no electrical mods at all to my PT with a Duralast battery and factory 120 amp alternator. It could drop the voltage at idle from 13.5 to 12.0 and dimmed the lights, too. PT Cruisers are regulated by the PCM to 13.5 volts regardless of RPMs. So now I have a Kinetik HC1400 underhood and a HC600 in the back, ~1500 watts rms, and still the factory alternator. I have not completed the Big 3 yet. Voltage is 13.4 constant and does not drop at all no matter what the volume of the stereo is at, no dimming or anything. Voltage at the rear battery seems to be a little higher at 13.8, unless my Stinger display needs calibrating again. From reading Dom's responses, Can I assume that I am ok in that I don't have voltage drop? You guys continuously advised me to overbuild my electrical for only 1500 watts total system rms power, so I feel pretty safe. Is there anyway I could actually get my alternator tested to see what it is really doing? And should I be looking into a higher amp alt in the future, and a MLA module, if I have no voltage drop at all? Thanks guys.
  10. 598 Not to threadjack, but what about a 650c cruiser motorcycle? Slow enough for a beginner? **Edit, not in any way trying to imply that dwright27 should not get what he wants in a bike, he may be an experienced rider, just looking for his first new purchase.
  11. ....my eyes hurt! You only need an isolator if you plan to run the stereo with the engine off for long periods.
  12. According to my previous supervisor (female). "There comes a time in every mans life when he wants a motorcycle." I guess this is somewhat true, my day had one when he was young, a Triumph, and eventually I want a chromed cruiser of some sort. I don't think I could do a sportbike and be able to handle the power for a "first bike", and that Hayabusa pic above is not an ideal "first bike" either! Crazy power, there! Anyway, best of luck with your purchase, seems to be a lot of experienced riders here to help you along.
  13. Looking good, that's gotta be a nice solid roof now! What do you think of a brace from floor to ceiling kinda like Oki did in his VW?
  14. Why you gotta do this when I need new brakes first!
  15. Nice progress Steve, ummm...you better buy Chicken a case of leather conditioner to go along with that interior! ....looks like miles of leather in there! Also, when you come up with an easy way of getting in there to clean the mirrors, post it up! I'm skinny and still have a hard time with my mini version!
  16. Yeah, those SMD guys tagged my car, too!
  17. That box was 5 cu ft internal and sealed. I don't see it fitting into a trunk, but with proper constuction I don't see why you couldn't do it. I don't do SPL, but would guess that you would need port forward or up through the rear deck.
  18. All your co-workers are coming in on Tuesday to see all their stuff on the floor and mixed up! Your 'random customer' vids are always fun to watch!
  19. Looks nice, that's a nice Lincoln too, they are kinda rare, and a nice car to have.
  20. Ok, there are two songs from Silicon Bass Experience, the first is called "Pure Silicon" and the second one is called "Silicon". The first one called "Pure Silicon" is on the USACi disc and can be had on iTunes. I want the second song called "Silicon"......it's the one Steve used in the "sister in law demo" vid. Anyway, it came out in 1994! Anyone know where I can get a copy of that song???? http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Silicon%20Bass...pc=098735228547 name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">
  21. Oh my damn!!! ....I like that!
  22. here is a link with some pics of powder coated wheels for ideas.... http://www.powdercoatingit.com/Wheels.htm
  23. Thanks, Mine are actually a very dark grey/anthracite. On a white car, dark wheels is a german tuner 'image'. You can't powdercoat them yourself, that stuff has to be baked on in an oven! Try contacting local 4x4 or Jeep shops, they usually powdercoat those 4x4 front bumpers and bed racks. Here is a great website for you...a Liberty is coded KJ by Jeep....maybe some help here.... http://www.lostkjs.com/forum/phpBB2/
