The same thing happened with sundown when they first came out and now look at them.

    i have the cd7000 and that shits pimp.... and my sister has a in dash unit from them kinda like stephen's up there ^^^^ and that was awesome. I liked how u could record shit from the radio if u wanted. but yea, eclipse never blew up as big but i would never question their reliability or nice features
