  1. I watched the videos again. Did you great foam under your trunk lid? Because my Camry's trunk use to rattle like hell and would seem like it would just pop off when I played my music. Then I used The Great Stuff foam or whatever it was called under the trunk lid and now it's a lot sturdier and less rattle. That Type-R is pretty good!
  2. I don't even have my subs in the trunk anymore. And when I did, I never cranked my music in those areas. As for pissing people off, I am pretty sure I don't piss people off because I'm a safe driver I am guessing all these incidents that happened to me is just because the other driver is impaired or just doesn't know how to drive. My other theory to why my car always get scratched when I park in those normal compact areas is because the college did a bad job leaving enough room for cars to back up and such. This school's parking lot is HUGE but all the parking spots seem to be "crammed" very closely Is it just me, or does the parking space look very crammed? Is this a typical parking lot format for a college campus? I also remember how I use to have trouble backing up to get out of a parking space. It's a bigger pain in the ass when there are SUV's around me.
  3. I think my car has been scratched 4 times in the past few years in the parking lot. One of the first few times was when I use to park in the "normal compact" parking spots (Note, 80% of the normal parking spaces are compact). One day, I found a huge ass scratch mark going across my entire door. I am guessing some cheap ass old honda civic's bumper was the cause of this. And other cases were the "door" issue where people open their doors and scratch the side of my door. So, after those incidents, I've decided never to park in those "Normal" parking spots again. I then decide to to park in the parralel spots that are close to the curb. When I did this, I found out that the driver side of my door got somewhat scratched. I am guessing it happened as people make a left turn out of the parking lot. So, I then decided never to park in those parrallel parking places again. Finally, for the past year, I've been parking in those "2 spot" parking spaces. It's basically those rare spots that allow 2 cars to park (there are only a few of these in the whole parking lot area, but I get their early to school so I can park there). Today, I have found out that there is this huge mark on the right side of my bumper. This was what the parking look liked: *Red squares = the rear of the car* I am guessing this is what happened. The dude probably put his car into reverse and ALMOST hits the rear of my car, then while he was close, he tried to bust a U to get out of the parking lot and as he bust that U, the left side of his bumper came in contact with mine and scratched my bumper. The reason why I bring this topic up is because I see a lot of nice 350z's, RX-8's G35's and all these nice looking cars at my college parking lot, and I am wondering how the hell these people with nice cars avoid getting their car scratched... For me, I drive a Toyota 1999 Camry XLe (Was in mint condition before these scratches), and I already have problems with noob honda civics scratching my car. Do these expensive cars have a lower rate of being scratch by other drivers or what because when people see a nice car, they tell themselves "yo I better not scratch this car or I'll get into deep shit". Besides parking next / behind/ in front/ of crappy beat up honda civics, do you guys have any other tips on how I can avoid my car from being scratched up?
  4. I have noticed that speeding in Oregon doesn't really save me that much time. For example, there had been many times where I would drive 80 MPH in a 55 MPH zone (Oregon speed limit) for about a mile and than ahead of me would be traffic and I'd have to slow down. I would also a lot of slow cars I've passed going 80 end up passing me one way or another in the weird traffic (sometime left lane faster sometime right lane faster). Freaken Oregon. 2-3 lanes on a free way sucks. Anyhow, I drive 7 hours a week to get to school and such and 80% of the time, I don't save any time to get from point A to point B. The only times where I've saved about 10 minutes was when there were very little traffic (very rare). MOST of the time when I do speed at 80 MPH or 75 MPH, I always end u breaking because there are always going to be a car ahead of me that is slow. So yeah, speeding is a waste of energy; you have to be aware of your surroundings at 100%. I rather just drive 5 MPH over the speed limit (60 MPH) and just follow the flow of traffic (when there is no traffic jam). Drive with the flow of traffic and save gas This is just a tip for Oregon people =P I know in San Jose California people drive 25 MPH over the speed limit. You gotta love those 5-7 lanes freeways. I think your chances of getting a ticket while speeding in cali is lower because the flow of traffic is always 25MPH over speed limit
  5. Cobra haha I was on a radar detector forum and everyone suggested not to get a Cobra. However, that is the best idea I've heard It probably won't work for Steve Meade though
  6. I'm sure Steve shook up the whole kitchen. I use to work at Burger King and one night an SUV was at the drive thru and had his music bumping full blast. It caused my boss's office to shake and things were falling over. I will never forget the look of that mexican's face haha. He was freaken furious.
  7. Are these any good compared to knuknonceptz? It looks like the 0/1 Gauge power wire is 1.10$ per feet after the discount
  8. I would like to know too! It sounds kinda like a beat 3 6 mafia or project pat would use
  9. How much did it cost? Looks like a smart dog unlike the other ugly ass pitbulls I've seen on TV that kill kids.
  10. After years of rigorous experimentations, scientists have concluded that women prefer coca-cola over Pepsi because coca-cola has a softer taste and less gas where as Pepsi is too strong for women to handle.
  11. Say hello to loo-loo and bogey: lu-lu aka luis aka louie loo-loo in a pink dress: A few months later we got rid of loo-loo's pink dress because we've realized loo-loo is actually a boy. We renamed it "Luis aka Louie
  12. Thanks. I hope I pull this off. I have a feeling I'll end up finding too much information because my topic is too vague, or I won't find enough information because my topic is too "simple"
  13. I haven't done research on how to replace stock alarm with aftermaket yet, but I've heard the instructions for installing one of those Viper brand is pretty tricky. If I do decide to replace my alarm after I attempt to upgrade my system, should I just bring it to circuit city or best buy to have the alarm installed? How much exactly would I need to spend for the install to be done? +$100?
  14. Finding people like audiofanaticz is probably the way to go when it comes to installs
  15. So, blast it of and tune it at full blast? What's the proper way to "breaking in" a sub anyway? Do you play it at low volumes for 1 to 1 week and then retune and play it at louder volumes?
  16. First of all, don't make threads like this or we'll be having the FBI investigate on this forum (assuming it was a murder weapon). Secondly, you should probably never snitch. Just walk away and pretend you didn't see anything. Let someone else report that stuff to the police. I'm sure you won't be the only one that notices a thing like that.
  17. I don't think killing people over stolen stuff is a good idea because being put in jail for life would suck.
