  1. the audio control meters are usely more dbs than the TL though. there is a sensitivity type knobs on the meter its self for the ac meter maybe they wernt adjusted right, even thoe its calibrated dont mean the sensitivty is right. even steve said that the AC with the spl60 sensor is only 1 or 2 db off from the TL side by side. what sensor was they using was it a mic or sensor?
  2. own the cd and yes it fuckin rumbles the lows on my set up @29hz
  3. yeah it has 28 more amps an hour. for the same price id just get a deka intimedator 100AH and is a dry cell
  4. werd chi-town mr submarine is the shit i eat there once a week most the time. the commercials and that song are ghey as hell but great food for the price.
  5. all those pix and none of the board. i would like to see the coils. im lookin for a amp now since my XXV Cyclops isnt able to be barrowed any longer never mind its a 2 ohm amp i see need 1 ohm
  6. good guy here can vouch for have bought from very nice amp btw.
  7. those wheels look tight how big are they 26s u said sumthing bout 24s and leave it dropped NM i seen it in the title now lol
  8. thats my fuck up thought they were D4s. u dont see very many single VC subs 3 or more ran together thats all. get u a 1 ohm stable u'll be fine
  9. ok they are single VC damn how many subs are that anymore not very. ok then they would all 3 be 1.34 ohm load i just did the math 3 times on my calculator. i dont use the wireing wizards when i am one on paper. u can either run a 1ohm mono 1500wrms amp safe or a 2 ohm 1200wrms amp to keep the wattage close to peak for the ohm load. but id go with a 1 ohm stable amp, and watch ur gain its key in setting up.
  10. how did u come up with this 1.33ohms from??? thats only if they are Dual 2 Ohm Subwoofers 1.33 Ohms would be achived in Series/Parallel. this is what ur REALY gonna have for ohm load, Dual 4 Ohm Subwoofers 2.67 Ohms this is also Series/Parallel. or if u want to Parallel/Parallel and run ur subs at 0.67 Ohm u can but i dont think that amp is .5 ohm stable. im a wireing guru and ill draw out any wire config u want let me know. i wire my subs Parallel/Parallel @ .25 ohm for comps, Series/Parallel daily @ 1 ohm. as for ur question u can run a 1200wrms amp to power all three subs but not that one id look for. id get a 2 ohm stable mono amp thats 1500wrms cuz of the 2.67ohms not being a tru 2 ohm load u will not get a full 1200wrms maybe 1000wrms and u have to include impeadance raise and box rise. so a 1500wrms amp that will run 2 ohms would be perfect. remember to set ur gain with a DMM to proporly set so u wont send any clipping signal to subs that can damage them.
  11. not my style but it has good bump to it..need the raw and rowdy crunk type tempo.
  12. if u wire 4 D2s in Parallel / Parallel u can get a .25 ohm load if u wire them Series / Parallel u will get 1 ohm load if there 4 D4s then it would be .5 ohms and 2 ohm if u want to know the wireing congfig i can draw u one in paint, just ask if intrested
  13. yeah tom i wired the them wrong with all 4 wired together i must have not payed attention it works fine now. i unwired everyone and then rewired them. im useing a hifonics XXV Cyclops for now borrowed for the meet.
  14. sounds like then 3 subs is what ur lookin for. if u want to give the 1000wms, but i would think efficiant or not 4 will out do the 3 thats just imo. thats one more cone moving that much more air more or less watts its still more cone
  15. its mono, never mind i have a amp im hoping to by off a guy im not even gonna use the brutus amp now. thanks for all that help with there input! anyways it turns out the coil config were wrong. duh me
  16. hell yeah vids would def make this so much easyer to know.....so go get sum vids so we can tell ya. crunch, crunch, crunch, soundstream.... kinda like duck, duck, duck, goose. lol the SS amp for the highs im guessing
  17. hey clocksta u gon b at this meet on the 25th this month?? sounds like a pretty tiht set up u got there
  18. 3 to 4 cu/ft wouldnt be that bad, i have a 19cu/ft box after all displacements for my 15" L7s 1100wrms to each @ 32hz is a barrowed amp for a few days to see if i like it b4 i buy. but still trying to get the money up. hifonics XXV cyclops 4000wrms clamped it 4387wrms but have the dmm set it to run close to 1100wrms to each sub. vc get kinda stinky im gonna have to turn down the gain.
  19. i dont know i bought it from a guy that said it was working and he had it at 1ohm? it wouldnt just work at one ohm load and not the other would it?? i figure it wouldnt work at all.
  20. yeah i even turned them up all the way just to see if it would help. lol ive seen that name b4 word another pysano. ive had this name for a long time
  21. i almost for got to mention when i did hook it up 1ohm and hardly any sound came out. i turned it up and it made my batt guage go down like it was being used i only have the stock alt on it right now, cuz my ho alt was getting hotter than it should so i took it out for now till i can see what the deal is with the alt.
  22. i have this hifonics brutus amp just to tide me over till i can get more money. i hooked it up to 4 ohms i have dual 2 ohm sub but the other junk amp i had was only 4 ohm stable. (the amp i was just using) when briged. so i just thought that ill leave it hooked up that way cuz 2kwrms is more than my L7 singaly can take. i have one just hooked up till next week. anyways i took the sub out and wired it for 1 ohm pos to pos and neg to neg it read on the dmm 1.2ohms, i hook it up to the amp and it dosent want to play i can feel the sub ever so slightly vibrating so i hook it back up to 4 ohm as the dmm shows and it plays fine. what the heck did??? i hook it up wrong i have no clue???
  23. ive had the webbie cd for a while now, and yeah those songs are mean. i still think young joc - patrone has the best bass BY far 2 18s AQ with a mm4000.1 looks like its gonna rip the roof off my homie sleepys envoy. the newer one
