LOL.... ive built many boxes for 18s daily and that my son is way too big. u realize how much port area you would need to not be tuned at 10hz lol

u have obviously already researched. you will get a million different choices because people run all sorts of brands on here. everything will mostly be biased based on what they are running since everything thinks what they are running is the best. honestly ive ran a few 18s in my day and ive had luck with Treo SSX 18s and Nightshade 18s. ran an adassa spl 18 and it was loud but didnt sound good. rocked an ma audio 18xl as well for awhile and they sounded like poo but got loud.

why even bother asking this question?

still too many variables to choose from when deciding on what woofer to buy.

or just build them and line them up. u know someone will buy each one of them. its all about motor strength not motor size though

its actually fun to be in there when its playing the LOW LOWS in the 20hz range. its the 40hz range that kills. i love the part at 50 sec into the video hahaha.

so just to give u a rough idea of what mid 150s at 26hz does behind c pillar if you dont strengthen your roof..... i got the steel late last week so i wasnt able to get the roof done before this past weekends show. i decided to go ahead and get the ball rolling on getting the roof strong again but come to find out its fucked...... started to rip in the rear so i put a piece of deadener of it for now to keep it from leaking. luckily i didnt let it get as bad as johns truck but its still messed up. i will still eventually need to get it welded up but im gonna go ahead and weld in steel and what not to the roof so it doesnt get worse.

havent decided yet because we can NEVER demo at gregs shows because they are always in places that piss others off. which is the only reason i built this thing

lol windshield doesnt move enough to break. too much other stuff flexes for the windhsield to give out. body panels and maybe side windows will break before the windshield.

i need to send it back to rw audio for him to take a look at it. there is no reason it shouldnt work. it was tested before he mailed it to me but once i hooked it up it didnt work. so i just hooked up my maxxlink for now.

no i dont plan on it anytime soon. next show will be meca finals down in TN i someone decides they wanna come check it out. go piss off the SQ judges again this year.

why different size speakers? just another way to waste money. size of speakers has absolutely nothing to do with tuning or what its able to play. so the design itself i dont really understand. if you are wanting to cover a wide range fo frequencies build a series tuned 6th order for a single sub or even 2. all that is just nonsense and a waste of money
