I have ^ many decimals!!!!
  2. I like where this is going..... Lots.
  3. I have 2 of these things. At one time, I had them strapped to the underside of a futon that I had. They worked well enough for me- but I didn't take them apart. Aura also made "Bass Shakers" for 12 volt applications. They had the Bass Shaker and Bass Shaker PRO. I have 4 of those in my Van as well, but they don't hold a candle to 12 12"s. They were quite innovative for their time. And if you use them for the correct application, they are still good little devices. I believe that Steve is putting 2 of Rockford Fosgate's I-Beam tactile transducers in the Tahoe. However- they are like super awesome Bass Shakers on Crack. EDIT: I think the farting you were hearing was the device vibrating next to your chair. They work by transferring energy to solid devices that then transfer the vibrations to your body. If you hold a properly functioning tactile transducer it shouldn't make any appreciable noise- it should just vibrate.
  4. Issue NO. 376 - August 19th, 1982 - $1.50 To be fair... I wasn't even 3 when this came out. I got this after the fact. Like I said- I'm a bit of a fan of the Tron movie. ...and it isn't just the movie, it reminds me of when I was young and everything was so simple. That is why I think they are doing so many re-makes and re-imagined movies. Just my 2 cents...
  5. Great videos! I really wanted to make that show, but 260 miles one way was a bit too much for me. Looks like it was a good time!
  6. Another cool guy: JRemy http://www.myspace.com/jremy And this one is one of his newest ones: This is one cool cat. He is from South Mississippi and is good friends with my brother in law and some of our mutual friends. He's got a guy last name Guidry who lays down FAT beats.
  7. Nice rifle! My buddy just ended an Armadillo last night with his .17 He loves his. Says it fires around 2600 fps. At that speed with the projectile so small, it doesn't even spall. Like J00bles said, it just explodes. Quite an effective round.
  8. Oh my goodness. This looks to be really good- and in 3D!?!?! I like it that they have Jeff Bridges in it. I am a bit of a TRON fan.....
  9. I seem to like them well enough....
  10. Now that's makin' someone's day! Another one ruined for life by the Tahoe! Great stuff!
  11. I don't know about kenwoods- I know it has healed my pioneers after trying everything else.

  13. Have you tried grounding the shielding of your RCAs? Wrap a small gauge wire around the shielding of the rcas where they connect to the HU (left & right, sub too if you have one) and then run those wires to ground.
  14. Yeah! Talk about paying for your wedding! ...if they can make some $ off of it that is. I know they deserve it!
  15. You want to fly down a bad road with loose rocks and do this to my windshield!!!!
  16. Wooo Hooo!!!! Tuned in and waiting with bated breath for another Steve Meade build. You always step it up to keep us makin' with tha' face!
  17. I am a computer technician.... for BINGO halls. I have a million crazy stories. People are so superstitious. I drive about 35-40k miles per year too- so I have seen my fair share of crazy stuff on the road... phew.
  18. I'm a big Tang-Band Fan. Also REALLY diggin' those JBL mids. I have 4 similar 4" gti's with the kevlar cones. The baskets are very similar. Really good stuff. Let us know on your review of the speakers!
  19. If you HAVE to use one, then you have to- but you really should find the real reason for the ground loop. You are just putting a band-aid on a big wound. Noise filters degrade the entire signal from your HU. Make sure your amp grounds are clean. Make sure your ground from your Alt to Batt to Chassis is large and clean. Look for wires next to RCAs and Isolate them from one another. For your HU, you really shouldn't use the factory ground from your vehicle's wiring harness- run a better one. If you have a Pioneer HU, they are bad about having ground loops. To fix it, wrap a small gauge wire around the shielding of the rcas where they connect to the HU and then run those wires to ground. That will handle most RCA noise.
  20. http://www.sajithmr.com/cetera-algorithm/ Appearently it is called the Cetera Algorithm. On that website there are 3 mp3s- the barber shop one and two more. This would be worth looking into- some sort of processor that ran the Cetera Algorithm that you could output to your car!!! Ooohhh.
