looking at the audiopulse epic right now...just looked at the e8 and they are not bad i like the way jacob handles his product, i respect that, to him.... good job. however, i don't feel that they will do what I require. I used a singlw mtx 4508 4 ohm in a t line in my girls envoy, powered from a thunder 102 (100 watts) and wow, now I want to down size from the 12'' mojo, so I can have a little more room. But I will need to have a sub that will perform great for SQ, but still give me enough sp, ya know.

so is a DD1508 my only option?

Ok, I may be down-sizing again... I am thinking of going to a single 8" sub in my truck, but my question is, what do you guys think is the most beast 8" sub that could take about 1k at one ohm? Any input, I will consider, thanks. Oh, and it needs to be capable of doing 40's :tease:

On my Pioner all I had to do was ground the green wire. On the Alpine, I used a PTR7 works great, also could do the toggle if you don't mind having to do it manualy each time... I just did the PTR7 for the convienience, its done and until I saw this post, I totaly forgot about it...

a fuze... I'm suprised that he actually used car audio wire and didn't just cut up an extension cord...

Hey godsmack.... I feel your pain. When I was in ( USMC ), I blew out my back. I was told that it was just a muscle spazam, motine an hydrate... anyhow, after about 4 years I finaly got an MRI. Got the back surgury, an the next, an the next... Thought It was ok, so I startedto get back into my life, well I went down again, this time broke my wrist and tore my ACL, and Miniscus. Well the ER said its just a strain, your knee will be better before your wrist heels. I am getting my knee surgury finaly this winter, almost 2 years after it was torn... I remember when I was in the Corps, all the fricken light duty, no fun. Good luck!!!

You cant get two dual 2 ohm subwoofers to run off 1 amp at 1 ohm.Parallel = .5 ohms. parallel/series = 2 ohms. series = 8 ohms The only way you are getting a 1 ohm load off two 2 subwoofers is if they are either dual 4 ohm, dual 1 ohm, or single 2 ohm coil configurations. I think I will hace to vote with audiofanaticz on this one.... or maybee we just do math differently here in the midwest

A long way? Wein I was in the Marine Coprs, we had to qualify up to the 500 yd line... There were intersevice matches held and would shoot up to the 1000 yd line... with steel sights, no scope!!! Not trying to bust your chops, but to only be able to make a "tricky" shot at 1000 with .50 cal.........The snipers would qualifiy at the 1000 with steel sights. That weapon, the .50 cal, can strike effectivly up to and beyond 1 mile...
